Jane Doe Obituary, Death; – A woman from Carbon County tragically lost her life early Monday in a multi-vehicle accident on Route 309 at Mountain Road, according to authorities.
The 36-year-old woman from Lansford has been identified as Jane Doe by the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office. While the woman has been positively identified, Coroner Dan Buglio stated that he would delay notification to allow for the completion of an autopsy, giving the family the necessary time to mourn.
Buglio mentioned that the woman was driving a vehicle involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer and another car. She was declared dead at the scene around 1:04 a.m.
The investigation is being conducted by the coroner’s office, the Pennsylvania State Police from the Fogelsville barracks, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office.
Trooper Nathan Branosky reported on X that the roadway was reopened shortly before 7 a.m.
