Domingo Torres Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the man, aged 44, who was fatally shot on Friday near the intersection of Maltby and Lombard streets.
In a press release issued on Sunday, city police reported that Domingo Torres, a resident of West Haven, succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a local hospital following the shooting.
Officers arrived at the scene at approximately 7:12 p.m. and found Torres unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the release.
Police indicated that an initial investigation suggests the victim was likely targeted, as “parts of the incident were recorded on video.”
There has been no information released regarding the identification of a suspect in the deadly shooting.
