Hidekel Cornelio Obituary, Death; – A FedEx driver died after being hit while making a delivery on Tuesday.
The driver, identified by relatives as 26-year-old Hidekel Cornelio, was getting out of the FedEx truck to make a delivery when another vehicle hit it. Cornelio was ejected from the truck, according to authorities.
“Our thoughts are with all of those involved in this tragic accident. We are deeply saddened over the loss of our team member and extend our sincere sympathies to their loved ones at this difficult time. Safety is our highest priority, and we are cooperating fully with the investigating authorities,” FedEx said in a statement.
