Thomas Foster Walker Obituary, Death; – The Decatur Police Department said one person was killed in a wreck Friday.
Around 5:30 p.m., DPD said officers with the department’s traffic division were dispatched to the 600 block of Bird Springs Road SW for a wreck with a reported injury.
DPD said when officers arrived, they found a single-vehicle wreck involving a motorcycle. Following an investigation, the department said the motorcyclist had lost control and left the roadway.
The motorcyclist, identified as 59-year-old Thomas Foster Walker, was pronounced dead at the scene. The wreck remains under investigation at this time, according to police.
