Ayla M Mangan Obituary, Death; – A 30-year-old woman has died after being stabbed Thursday morning on the northeast side of the city, according to the Canton Police Department.
Chief John Gabbard said officers were dispatched at 9:35 a.m. to 2327 20th St. NE after a 911 call reported a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found the victim, identified as Ayla M. Mangan, in the backyard of the residence receiving treatment from Canton Fire medics for a stab wound to her back.
Mangan was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, where she died a short time later. Canton Police detectives are actively investigating the incident. No arrests have been announced.
