Walter Foxcroft Obituary, Death; – A man has died as a result of a flash fire that occurred within a hyperbaric chamber at a medical facility located in Lake Havasu City.
Shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighters and police officers from Lake Havasu City responded to reports of a burn victim at a facility situated near Mesquite Avenue and Civic Center Lane. Upon arrival, the crews discovered smoke permeating the building and were directed to a hyperbaric chamber.
The individual found inside the chamber was declared dead at the scene. He has been identified as 43-year-old Walter Foxcroft, a resident of Lake Havasu City.
Subsequently, firefighters conducted a search of the area for any additional potential hazards. The scene was then handed over to police detectives and fire investigators to ascertain the circumstances that led to the flash fire.
A hyperbaric chamber is a sealed tube that is pressurized with pure oxygen, utilized for the treatment of various medical conditions or injuries.
