Matthew Randolph Obituary, Death;- A Steelton man who blew through a stop sign in a residential neighborhood and striking a truck and killing the driver, a new father, then fled the scene, Steelton Police said.
Carlos Jose Tarrle Cruz, 19, faces two felonies for causing the vehicle crash that killed 47-year-old Matthew Randolph at around 10 p.m. July 1 at the intersection of North Second and Lincoln Streets in Steelton.
Cruz was driving his Honda Pilot at “an extremely high rate of speed” south on North Second Street when he ran through a stop sign and struck Randolph’s Ford F-150, which was driving east on Lincoln Street, police said.
