Jaykavion Gary Obituary, Death;- The victim of a deadly overnight shooting that occurred in Remerton Saturday has been identified.
Jaykavion Gary, 16, of Valdosta was identified by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Tuesday as the teen who was shot and killed just after midnight Saturday near the 1900 block of Baytree Place.
That night, a “dispute” happened between multiple people before gunshots began to rang out, according to the GBI. Shortly after, the teen victim was taken to a hospital but did not survive. At this time, no arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
