Alejandro Fernandez Obituary, Death; – A man lost his life in a wrong-way collision on the Edens Expressway in the northern suburbs early Sunday morning, according to the Illinois State Police.
The incident took place around 2:52 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-94 at Tower Road in Glencoe. Authorities reported that the crash involved a red Pontiac, a black Hyundai, a white Jeep, and a gray Tesla.
Initially, the Illinois State Police indicated that at least one female passenger was taken to the hospital with injuries. On Monday, the Cook County Medical Examiner confirmed that Alejandro Fernandez, 32, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
