Tavon Donte Adams Obituary, Death; – Fayetteville police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred early in the morning on July 7, near Camden Road.
At 2:02 a.m. on July 7, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of Slim Circle, where they discovered a man with gunshot wounds, according to a news release from the Fayetteville Police Department.
The officers attempted to administer life-saving measures; however, the man, identified as Tavon Donte Adams, 28, was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel who arrived shortly thereafter, as stated in the release.
The Homicide Unit of the Fayetteville Police Department is currently investigating the case. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact Detective J. Phillips at 910-322-7046.
