Travis B Duke,Christy D Shaw Obituary, Death;- A two-car crash on Friday evening killed two people.
The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. on Covington County 70 near Mary Williamson Road, about five miles northeast of Andalusia city limits, in Covington County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says Travis B. Duke, 37, of Andalusia, and Christy D. Shaw, 20, of Headland, were both killed after colliding head-on.
After the initial collision Duke’s car overturned and Shaw’s struck a ditch. ALEA says Duke and Shaw were not using seat belts at the time of the crash, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
An 18-year-old passenger of the Kia was also injured and transported to a hospital for treatment.  No further details are available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
