Filbert Candelaria Obituary, Death; – A 32-year-old motorcyclist is dead after a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, June 28, in East El Paso County, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO).
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Saturday along the 11100 block of Socorro Road.
Due to the severity of the crash, the Sheriff’s Office Special Traffic Investigators were called to take over the investigation, EPCSO said.
EPCSO said preliminary findings revealed that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Socorro Road when it collided with another vehicle.
The motorcyclist, identified as Filbert Candelaria, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office said.
The occupants inside the other vehicle did not have any injuries, EPCSO said.
The investigation remains ongoing, the Sheriff’s Office said.
