Miguel Alvarez-Flores Obituary, Death; – On Thursday, the police identified the individual who was fatally stabbed earlier this week outside a convenience store in Southeast Portland as 21-year-old Miguel Alvarez-Flores.
According to police, officers responded to a parking lot located in the 6200 block of Southeast Foster Road just before 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. Upon their arrival, they discovered Alvarez-Flores deceased, with no suspect present at the scene. Residents in the vicinity and the store’s website indicated that the convenience store had closed several hours before the deadly incident.
This stabbing incident was one of two homicides that occurred early on Sunday. Approximately three hours later, police located 31-year-old Taylor King deceased inside a condominium in the Woodlawn neighborhood and apprehended one suspect.
