Benjamin Reese Obituary, Death;- Authorities have confirmed the identity of the individual who lost their life in a motorcycle accident in Duluth on Monday afternoon. According to Duluth Police, Benjamin Reese, 32, a resident of Duluth, succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on Summit Ridge Parkway, close to the intersection with Tree Summit Parkway. Upon the arrival of officers, they discovered the rider unresponsive in a grassy area adjacent to the road. He was subsequently declared deceased by Gwinnett County Fire personnel.
Investigators suspect that Reese was traveling north on Summit Ridge Parkway when he lost control and departed from the roadway. There were no other vehicles involved, and law enforcement indicated that the incident appears to be a single-vehicle crash.
Authorities have not disclosed whether speed or other contributing factors were involved.
