Jeffrey DeLaRosa Obituary, Death; – Authorities requested the assistance of the public on Wednesday in locating a suspected hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a 66-year-old homeless man in Stanton.
Deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian near Katella Avenue and Date Street at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The victim, identified as Jeffrey DeLaRosa, was declared dead at the scene. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the vehicle involved was described as a Nissan Rogue compact crossover SUV from the years 2007 to 2015, exhibiting front-end damage. Authorities stated that the driver was last observed traveling eastbound on Katella Avenue towards Beach Boulevard.
