Millie Sheehan,Diana Sheehan Obituary, Death; – On Monday morning, a tragic incident occurred in Westchester County, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to two children when a vehicle collided with an apartment building.
According to investigators, the car appeared to have lost control, striking the curb, then a tree, before crashing into the front of the structure located on Battle Avenue in White Plains shortly after 9 a.m.
Upon the arrival of first responders, both the vehicle and the building were engulfed in flames. It seems that the fire trapped the two women inside the Tesla, leaving them with no means of escape.
Once the fire was extinguished and the vehicle was removed from the building, the bodies of the two women were discovered inside the car. They were later identified as Millie Sheehan, aged 70, who was driving, and her 36-year-old sister-in-law, Diana Sheehan, both residents of Hartsdale, New York.
Two children present in the apartment building received treatment for their injuries at the scene. Additionally, a jogger passing by during the incident was struck by debris and subsequently transported to White Plains Hospital for the treatment of minor injuries.
