Jordan Mosby Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old woman has been arrested for murder in connection with the death of a man who was discovered with gunshot wounds on Pacific Coast Highway last month, according to Long Beach police on Tuesday.
The deceased, identified as 19-year-old Jordan Mosby from Atwater, was declared dead after being located on May 27 in the 200 block of East Pacific Coast Highway with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
“During their investigation, Homicide detectives identified the suspect as Deriana Cole, a 19-year-old female resident of Compton,” the Police Department mentioned in its news release on Tuesday.
Cole was found to be in custody at the Long Beach City Jail on an unrelated charge, as reported by the police. She was subsequently re-booked for murder, with her bail set at $2 million, according to the news release. Investigators indicated that the motive behind the shooting remains under investigation.
