Andrew Palumbo Obituary, Death; – A man from Holliston entered a not guilty plea on Tuesday, June 17, at the Framingham District Court concerning charges related to a fatal accident that occurred last year.

Paul Mangan, aged 73, was arraigned on Tuesday on a single count of motor vehicle homicide due to negligence. Judge Mary Phillips permitted his release without bail but instructed him not to operate a vehicle without a valid license.

Mangan faces charges linked to a crash that took place on July 21, 2024, in Holliston, which resulted in the death of Andrew Palumbo, 62, from Ashland. According to a press release issued at the time of the incident, the Holliston Police reported that Palumbo was riding a motorcycle when he was hit by a car at 7:48 p.m. at the intersection of Mill and Prentice streets.

The driver, later identified as Mangan, stayed at the scene following the incident. Mangan was summoned to court following an investigation conducted by the Holliston Police, Massachusetts State Police, and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. He is scheduled to return to court on August 7 for a pretrial conference.
