Anthony Rangal Obituary, Death; 19-year-old identified as person fatally shot at Fort Worth house party

Anthony Rangal Obituary, Death; – A 19-year-old male was fatally shot multiple times early Sunday morning, as reported by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Anthony Rangal succumbed to his injuries at John Peter Smith Hospital due to gunshot wounds sustained in his torso and forearm, according to the records from the medical examiner.

Rangal was shot at a residence located in the 3700 block of N. Houston Street around 12:30 a.m. A party was taking place at the residence at the time of the shooting, as previously stated by Fort Worth police. Two individuals were transported to a hospital, one of whom was later identified as Rangal, who died from his injuries, according to the release.

A third individual who sustained injuries was taken to a hospital by a private vehicle. Police indicated that this person is expected to survive. The individual suspected of shooting the three victims fled the scene in a vehicle, according to police reports. As of Monday, no arrests have been made.

This incident was one of four fatal shootings that occurred in Fort Worth during the Father’s Day weekend. At approximately 3:30 a.m., another shooting took place in the 3000 block of Conejos Drive, where authorities discovered a victim suffering from “multiple gunshot wounds to his chest/torso,” as stated by police.

In total, five individuals, including Rangal, lost their lives in the reported shootings.
