Martin L. Hrpcha Obituary, Death; – A motorcycle accident in the Town of King last week resulted in the death of an Illinois man. As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, a 911 call was made on Friday, September 13, at approximately 1:23 a.m., indicating a single-motorcycle accident involving one rider on Spring Creek Drive, west of Terry Road. The motorcycle operator was found to be unresponsive.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Spring Creek Drive when it veered onto the shoulder while navigating a curve and subsequently overturned.
The operator, identified as Martin L. Hrpcha, 71, from Kankakee, Illinois, was declared deceased at the scene. The Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Tomahawk Fire Department, Tomahawk EMS, and the Lincoln County Coroner’s Office. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
