Ian Pequignot Obituary, Death; – A 7-year-old boy from Ohio tragically drowned on Wednesday while snorkeling in a pool, as reported by authorities. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office identified the child as Ian Pequignot.
According to officials, Ian was swimming with several other children under the supervision of adults at a pool located on Timber Walk Lane in Morgan Township at approximately 2:30 p.m. that day. Eventually, Ian’s mother reported that she did not see him come back up from snorkeling.
Deputies stated that she leaped into the deep end of the pool in an attempt to rescue him. The Morgan Township Life Squad made efforts to save Ian’s life. He was transported to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the drowning.
