Kiara Jackson Obituary, Death; – A 23-year-old man is currently in custody, charged with the shooting and murder of a young mother at Mill Creek Falls during the early hours of Wednesday morning. As per officials, Lavia M. Paul, aged 23, from Cleveland, was apprehended on Wednesday evening and is facing charges of murder.
The family of the victim informed FOX 8’s Stacey Frey that they are not acquainted with the suspect’s name. Cleveland Metroparks police are anticipated to provide further details during a press conference scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Kiara Jackson. The Cleveland Metroparks Police Department reported that Jackson was shot and killed near the entrance to Mill Creek Falls, located off Broadway Avenue, shortly before 4 a.m. on Wednesday.
The victim’s family conveyed to FOX 8 News that Jackson is the mother of two children. They mentioned that Jackson was at the park with a group of individuals prior to the tragic shooting.
