Kevin Barbour Obituary, Death;- Kevin Barbour, aged 70, from Rockford, has been identified as the individual who tragically lost his life in a fatal accident on Sunday afternoon in Loves Park, as announced by the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office on Monday.
The incident occurred around noon on June 8 at the junction of E. Riverside Boulevard and Pebble Creek Trail. Authorities believe that Barbour was attempting to execute a left turn onto Pebble Creek Trail from E. Riverside when he was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound.
When paramedics arrived, Barbour was found to be unresponsive and not breathing. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Loves Park Police Department, along with the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office, is currently conducting an investigation into the matter.
