David Scott Miller Obituary, Death;- The State Police based in Meadville are conducting an investigation into a fatal single-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of a man from Saegertown in Hayfield Township.
The deceased has been identified as 59-year-old David Scott Miller, a resident of Saegertown. As reported by PSP Meadville, troopers looked into the deadly crash that took place on Saturday, June 7, at approximately 6:55 a.m., near 17200 State Highway 198 in Hayfield Township, Crawford County.
Authorities established that Miller was operating a custom three-wheeled motorcycle in an eastbound direction on State Highway 198. For reasons that remain unclear, he veered off the left side of the road and into a ditch, resulting in the vehicle overturning. The motorcycle ultimately came to rest in a field.
According to law enforcement, there were no witnesses to the crash. Authorities indicated that Miller likely succumbed to his injuries instantly. Investigators observed that the motorcycle was cool to the touch and exhibited signs of overnight condensation, suggesting that the accident occurred several hours prior to its discovery.
