Marite Leitane MISSING; – The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office announced that it is actively searching for Marite Leitane, aged 76, as of Monday morning.
According to the sheriff’s office, she departed from her residence on Sunday night for a bicycle ride but has not returned. Leitane left her cell phone and debit card at home and did not take a water bottle with her.
Leitane, who does not communicate in English, was last observed wearing a pink shirt and black leggings. She was riding a white European racing bicycle that features blue lettering.
