William Will Wilson Obituary, Death; – County officials have confirmed the identity of a Fulton County Public Works employee who tragically lost his life in a worksite accident earlier this week. The incident occurred on Monday morning while workers were addressing a sewer problem in Sandy Springs.

William “Will” Wilson succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident, as reported by the county. “Mr. Wilson dedicated over eight years of service to Fulton County as a Senior Crew Supervisor in the Department of Public Works,” the county stated in an official announcement. He is survived by his wife, Janet Coats Wilson, daughter Lee Bradley, two grandchildren, and numerous friends and colleagues. His passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing, was also noted by the county.

“The Fulton County family is grieving the loss of a cherished friend and colleague,” remarked Fulton County Commissioners Chairman Pitts. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wilson family and our entire Public Works team during this challenging time.”

A funeral service for Mr. Wilson is scheduled for Tuesday, September 17, at 1 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, located at 2089 Ponce de Leon Ave NE in Atlanta. A reception will take place in the Parish Hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Wilson to the nonprofit organization Trout Unlimited or to C.A.S.T For Kids, which supports children with special needs through fishing activities.
