Larry Motte,Austin Obituary, Death; – Federal authorities are conducting an investigation into the fatal crash of a small aircraft in Chambers County that occurred over the weekend. The aircraft is said to have gone down late Saturday afternoon close to FM 1724, just south of I-10.
Search teams commenced their search for the plane on Saturday night and discovered the wreckage on Sunday. Both the pilot and the passenger were found deceased at the scene. They have been identified as Larry Motte from La Porte and his grandson from Austin. The National Transportation Safety Board, along with the Federal Aviation Administration, is looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
