Michael Bradford Obituary, Death; – Scottsdale police have identified the individual who was shot and killed while visiting a friend’s residence earlier this week.
Authorities report that 48-year-old Sean Quinn has been taken into custody on a second-degree murder charge following the shooting that occurred on Tuesday near the intersection of Miller and McDowell Roads. Officers discovered Michael Bradford, 46, in the carport area suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Bradford was transported to the hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Crisis negotiations took place at the residence as Quinn allegedly refused to exit, but he eventually complied. At that moment, police state that he stood in the doorway and did not adhere to police commands. An officer subsequently deployed a K9 unit, resulting in Quinn being bitten. Police then expedited Quinn to the hospital to treat the dog bite injury.
Information regarding a potential motive has not been disclosed; however, authorities indicate that the two individuals were acquainted and had maintained a friendship for several years. Quinn has now been processed into the Maricopa County jail. A booking photograph was not immediately available.
