Kent P Recklein Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday afternoon, a man from Caseyville lost his life due to a dog attack, as reported by Police Chief Woodrow Hall. The event occurred around 2 p.m. on Susanne Court, close to Old Caseyville Road.
Chief Hall indicated that three dogs discovered at the location may have been involved in the incident and have since been taken into custody by St. Clair County Animal Control. The victim has been identified by St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye, Sr. as 67-year-old Kent P. Recklein from Caseyville. Currently, the breeds of the dogs and the circumstances leading to the attack remain unclear. An investigation is currently underway.
