Terry L Barker Obituary, Death;- A 36-year-old man from Alliance tragically lost his life after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday night while attempting to cross U.S. Route 62 in Canton, as reported by Police Chief John Gabbard. The Canton Police Department arrived at the scene in the westbound lanes of U.S. 62 near Kirby Avenue NE around 9:20 p.m. on May 20.
Officers discovered that a 2008 Lexus R35, which was traveling west in the right lane, had collided with the male pedestrian. The individual, identified as Terry L. Barker, was declared dead at the scene. Authorities stated that the driver of the Lexus was unharmed and is not believed to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Canton Metro Crash Team is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
