Adam L Garrison Obituary, Death; – A red SUV involved in a collision that left a motorcyclist from the Tri-Cities in critical condition earlier this month has been located. Washington State Patrol Trooper Daniel Mosqueda informed the Tri-City Herald that both the SUV and its driver were identified a few days following the incident on May 7.

He mentioned that the driver was interviewed but has not yet been arrested or charged. The state patrol had previously issued a public alert to assist in locating the vehicle, although he did not disclose how it was found. Adam L. Garrison, 41, from Pasco, was traveling east towards downtown Kennewick on Highway 240 when he collided with an SUV that was changing lanes near the Edison Street exit around 7 a.m., according to WSP investigators. Several witnesses observed the crash and stopped to assist the father of three.

They reported that the red SUV, resembling a GMC Yukon, sustained significant rear-end damage but continued driving east. After interviewing the driver and searching the SUV, the WSP report was sent to Benton County prosecutors to determine if any charges would be filed against the driver. Investigators have previously characterized the crash as complex. Garrison spent approximately a week in intensive care due to a shattered pelvis, a ruptured bladder, and two broken arms, as indicated by his mother’s social media updates and his nephew, Dustin Petrick.

Petrick, who initiated a GoFundMe campaign for Garrison, informed the Tri-City Herald that he has now been discharged to recover at a rehabilitation facility in Sunnyside. He noted that Garrison faces a long and expensive recovery process. Garrison, who works as a mechanic for A to Z Rentals, previously led a memorial motorcycle ride for Jhoser Sanchez, who tragically lost his life in a collision involving off-duty Trooper Sarah Clasen. Petrick remarked that Garrison was always willing to assist others with yard work, car repairs, or maintenance.
