Steven Sheldon Obituary, Death; – Temple Police Department identified the motorcyclist who died in a fatal traffic accident on State Highway 36 Saturday as Steven Sheldon, 33, of Killeen.
Officers were dispatched to a traffic accident at the 9500 block of SH-36 before 2 a.m. Saturday morning When officers arrived on scene they determined the motorcycle, operated by Sheldon, was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed when he struck the backside of a vehicle causing him to go over the guard rail.
Sheldon was pronounced deceased on scene by Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3, Place 1, Rosanne Fisher. The roadways were reportedly shut down for several hours after the incident.
