Xavier Sterling Obituary, Death; – The Hampton police have released an image of an individual they suspect is linked to the shooting incident that resulted in the death of a man outside Chances Restaurant & Lounge on May 5. According to police reports, the confrontation began inside Chances on Settlers Landing shortly before 11 p.m. and subsequently escalated outside.
An unidentified assailant brandished a firearm and shot the 29-year-old victim, who has been identified by authorities as Xavier Sterling from Hampton, and he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. This incident follows a previous shooting a few months prior at the adjacent Stillwater Tavern, which also originated from a dispute, as stated by the police.
