local time on Tuesday, May 6, as reported by Cleveland 19 News, referencing the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO). The motorcycle was operated by her husband, Peter Martinson, as indicated on a GoFundMe page.

Both Cheyenne and Peter were initially taken to the hospital following the crash; however, Cheyenne was later pronounced dead, according to Cleveland 19 News. At the time of her passing, Cheyenne was six months pregnant, and she and Peter had a two-year-old son, as mentioned on the GoFundMe page. The authorities have not yet disclosed the details regarding the cause of the accident. The GCSO did not respond promptly to PEOPLE’s inquiry for comments on Saturday, May 10.

The GoFundMe page expressed, ‘It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of a tragic accident involving Peter and his wife, Cheyenne. They were involved in a motorcycle accident that has turned their lives upside down. Cheyenne, who was six months pregnant, tragically passed away along with their unborn child.’ The fundraising page further noted that Peter is in critical condition and ‘fighting for his life, but is stable.’ It continued, ‘In the wake of this unimaginable loss, their two-year-old son now faces a future without his mother and with his father battling for his life.
