Christopher Hammonds and his fiancée, Lisa, were attending to a flat tire on U.S. 29 in Greensboro on May 2.
According to police reports, they had pulled over to the shoulder and activated their hazard lights. Unfortunately, another vehicle veered off the road and collided with them.
