Ryan Hinton Obituary, Death; – The family of the 18-year-old who lost his life in East Price Hill during a police investigation will hold a press conference on Monday. Ryan Hinton, aged 18, was named by Cincinnati police as the individual they allege displayed a semi-automatic handgun when an officer shot him on May 1 in East Price Hill.
Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge stated that the deadly encounter with police was related to an investigation into a stolen vehicle. It was later revealed on May 2 that Ryan Hinton was the son of 38-year-old Rodney Hinton Jr. Just two hours after the police chief concluded her press conference on May 2, Rodney Hinton Jr. deliberately used his vehicle to kill a deputy from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, as reported by Cincinnati Fraternal Order of Police President Ken Kober.
The deputy, identified as Larry Henderson, had served with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for 33 years, according to Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey.
