Jessica Lockwood Obituary, Death; – Luzerne County authorities have provided new details regarding the investigation into the shooting death of a woman whose body was discovered burned on a road in Hazleton.
The District Attorney’s Office and the Hazleton City Police Department conducted a press conference on Monday afternoon to share further information about the murder of Jessica Lockwood. Lockwood’s remains were found ablaze along Club 40 Road in Hazleton on Sunday, April 27.
An autopsy performed on Tuesday, April 29, determined that the cause of death was blunt force trauma combined with a gunshot wound, and the death has been classified as a homicide. Following the discovery of Lockwood’s body, investigators examined a residence on Muir Road. Authorities have identified Terrance Lorey Ray as the suspect in Lockwood’s murder, and he is currently at large.
