June Green Jr Obituary, Death; – The man who was found dead with a gunshot wound in Richmond’s Northside Friday evening has been identified by police. The man was identified by the Richmond Police Department as 50-year-old June Green, Jr., of Richmond.
At 4:03 p.m. on Friday, May 2, Richmond Police officers were called to the 3900 block of Old Brook Road for the report of a person down.
When officers arrived, they found Green, Jr., lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Green, Jr.’s death is being investigated as a homicide, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective B. Neifeld at 804-646-3246.
