Anthony Smith Obituary, – Authorities announced on Wednesday that the death of a teenage boy discovered in southwest Charlotte has been classified as a homicide.
On Tuesday, human remains were located on Silverleaf Road, close to Old Pineville Road. The remains were identified as belonging to 15-year-old Anthony Smith on Wednesday, as reported by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. Smith’s family had reported him missing on Wednesday, September 4.
