According to deputies, they responded to a report of an elderly man found deceased on the evening of April 28 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
The investigation into this suspicious death continued into the afternoon of April 29, with multiple investigators seen entering and exiting the residence to gather evidence. Additionally, several investigators have been observed entering the mobile incident command vehicle stationed across the road.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain largely unclear. Neighbors have described the victim as a local pastor, and several Sheriff’s Deputy vehicles were noted near a church in the vicinity. Deputies are withholding many details at this time. In a statement to FOX 10, Schonemann’s son expressed, ‘Our Dad had such a positive impact on people everywhere he went. We will miss the loving guidance and patience. The happiness he showed just getting to walk around an airport getting his steps in. The creativity of all machines he built.
There are never enough words to say it all or to say it as well as a person would like. Simply, he is missed.’ We are actively seeking to provide further information regarding this tragic event.
