Christopher King Jr Obituary, Death; – The Tuscaloosa Police Department is conducting an investigation following a shooting on April 28 that resulted in the death of a man in Tuscaloosa. At approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 2200 block of Reece Boulevard, as stated by Capt. Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit.
Upon arrival, they discovered 19-year-old Christopher King Jr. suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The investigation has been taken over by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit. Capt. Kennedy indicated that a person of interest has been identified, and the investigation remains active.
