Tyren J Kinloch Obituary, Death; – The Coroner’s Office of Berkeley County has confirmed the identity of the 17-year-old who lost his life in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday. Tyren J. Kinloch, a resident of Wando, has been named as the victim.
The coroner’s office received notification on April 22 regarding an individual with severe injuries who was admitted to a local hospital’s emergency room, where he was later pronounced dead. According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting took place during a traffic stop near the intersection of Clements Ferry Road and Rivers Reach Drive. It has been reported that gunfire erupted during the stop, leading to Kinloch’s injuries and his subsequent transport to the hospital.
Law enforcement officials confirmed that no deputies were harmed during the incident. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is currently underway.
