Carrie Green Obituary, Death;- Authorities have confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life in a two-vehicle collision on Monday in Fairfield County. According to the Fairfield County Coroner’s Office, 78-year-old Carrie Green was a back seat passenger in a vehicle that was struck by another car at the intersection of Hwy 321 Business S. and U.S. Hwy 321.
Emergency responders extricated Green from the vehicle and initiated life-saving measures before transporting her to Prisma Health Richland Memorial Hospital, where she subsequently succumbed to her injuries, as stated by Hill. The Fairfield County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
