Authorities are continuing their efforts to determine the cause of the collision with the pole. Officers, firefighters, and medical personnel were initially dispatched to the 10400 block of Colesville Road near Southwood Avenue following multiple reports of a single-vehicle accident around 10:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 2022 black Kia Telluride that had veered off the road and struck a utility pole.
