Jeremy Britt Obituary, Death; – A man from Reevesville is facing legal charges in connection with a shooting that resulted in the death of a 31-year-old last week.
Camren Deroy Ravenell, also 31, has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to sheriff’s spokesman Steven Wright.
These charges arise from the shooting of Jeremy Britt, aged 31, which occurred last Wednesday at a residence located in the 4000 block of Wire Road, as reported by Wright. Upon the arrival of deputies, they found Ravenell in the backyard of the residence and apprehended him without any complications. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities collaborating with the First Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
As of Monday afternoon, Ravenell is being held at the L.C. Knight Detention Center.
