William Ray Obituary, Death; – Adams County deputies are conducting an investigation following the fatal shooting of a man.
According to the Natchez Democrat, the incident took place on Hillcrest Drive in the Cloverdale neighborhood at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 13. Adams County Coroner James Lee has confirmed the identity of the victim as 63-year-old William Ray. His death has been classified as a homicide.
Ray’s remains have been sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for an autopsy. Authorities have yet to disclose any details regarding a potential suspect.
