Messiah Martinez Obituary, Death; The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a teenager who was reportedly shot and killed on Tuesday evening.
According to the medical examiner, 16-year-old Messiah Martinez succumbed to a gunshot wound to the torso, and his death has been classified as a homicide. A vehicle, with Martinez unresponsive in the backseat, was taken to Baptist Neighborhood Hospital – Kelly, located in the 800 block of Cupples Road.
Authorities indicated that two other males in the vehicle also sustained gunshot wounds. Hospital personnel later declared Martinez deceased, as reported by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).
The location of the shooting remains unknown, and the two other injured males have declined to provide details about the incident.
