Trevor Needham Obituary, Death; – Ottawa police have reported that a man was fatally injured early Friday morning, and no suspects are currently in custody. According to a news release, officers responded to a residence on Provender Avenue, located east of central Ottawa, shortly before 6 a.m., where they discovered the deceased.
Paramedics indicated that the victim, identified by police as 42-year-old Trevor Needham from Ottawa, had sustained injuries from an edged weapon while inside the building. Additionally, a woman at the scene sustained injuries that are not life-threatening, as per police reports.
This incident marks the eighth homicide in Ottawa for the year. The location is situated near the intersection of Montreal and Blair roads, approximately six kilometers east of the downtown area. Ottawa police are currently investigating three homicides that have occurred within a week, following a case near Chinatown on Saturday evening and another in Lowertown on Tuesday.
