Olimjon Obidovich Tashkulov Obituary, Death; – Police have identified the man who died after being hit by a trailer as 33-year-old Olimjon Obidovich Tashkulov from Staten Island, New York.
The accident happened overnight on March 28 at a business on the 900 block of Nicholas D. Hachar Road. Officers said a trailer was backing into a cargo bay when it hit Tashkulov by accident.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police spokesperson Joe Baeza said the driver cooperated with investigators and was not under the influence.
Since the accident happened on private property, the Crimes Against Persons Division (CAPERS) is handling the case.
