Ajanaye Antontte Wiltz Obituary, Death; – A 16-year-old girl who was fatally shot on Sunday afternoon in Florin has been named.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has classified Ajanaye Antontte Wiltz’s death, which occurred around 3:30 p.m. at a residence on the 8000 block of Chriswoods Court, as a homicide.
Sgt. Amar Gandhi, a spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, stated that detectives are actively engaged in the investigation as of early Monday afternoon.
The shooting was initially reported by deputies at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District also dispatched units to provide medical assistance. According to the sheriff’s office, Wiltz was declared dead at the scene.
